The K20 Museum in Dusseldorf has a wonderful collection of Max Ernst, and a ton of superb modern art 1910-1930. Lots more, of course, but Cubism and its aftermath is a real strength.

Our user interfaces are very Mondrian. I’d like to see some user interfaces that start from Kandinsky.

After impromptu afternoon seminar on hypertext narrative, we went to the Cathedral for a nice performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria and Mozart’s Credo Mass (KV 257), which I had never heard, performed by a very proficient Baroque orchestra and boys choir.
