The Secret History

The Secret History reminds me of Hanya Yanagihara’s A Little Life. Both are large novels about a compact group of unlikable but nonetheless sympathetic young people. Donna Tartt’s novel is set in a New England college, and I’m a sucker for school stories. It’s very well written, but I’m happy to reach the end.
